Stuart Hinds is the Assistant Dean for Special Collections and Archives for the University of Missouri- KC. He also oversees the GLAMA collection which is the Gay and Lesbian Archive of Mid-America. I spoke with him about the history of the Cabaret bar. The photo of the bar is when it enjoyed a short run as “The Pegasus” or “Peggy Sue” but Stuart said the only difference between the Cabaret front and the Pegasus front was the sign. I will be adding much more of this interview in the near future.
